Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Parmesan Crusted Chicken is one of my all-time favorite dinners. It is so easy to make and will melt in your mouth. You only need six ingredients to make this dish.
We grew up having this for dinner at least once a week. My family loved it and I’m sure my mom loved how simple it was to make. Pair it with my Herb Roasted Acorn Squash, a simple salad, or your favorite pasta.
Here is what you will need to make this chicken
- 2 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp of fresh herbs- I used oregano, thyme, and rosemary.
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
How to make Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Begin by preheating the oven to 350F and lining a baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil.
After that, slice the chicken breast in half and using a meat tenderizer pound the chicken until it is 1/4-1/2 an inch thick. Then sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
Chop the herbs into tiny pieces.
In a small bowl, mix together fresh herbs, mayo, and, grated parmesan cheese. Divide the mixture in half and spread it evenly on both chicken breasts. Bake for 20 minutes and then broil on high for one minute.
