Cedar Plank Salmon

I am super excited about the warmer weather and grilling. Add this Cedar Plank Salmon to your list of meals to grill this spring! It is absolutely delicious and my favorite way to have salmon.

Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon

Servings: 2 servings



  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • ½ tsp black pepper

other ingredients

  • ¾-1 lb salmon


  • Soak the cedar planks for no less than an hour before grilling. To do so, submerge the cedar planks in water. 
  • Heat a grill to medium heat, about 350°F.
  • Make the rub by mixing all of the rub ingredients. 
  • Place the salmon on the soaked planks and coast the salmon with the rub.
  •  Lay the cedar plank on the grill.
  • Grill for 12 to 15 minutes. 
  • Enjoy!
