Easy Frozen Yogurt Cups
A four-ingredient dessert that you do not have to turn your oven on for?! These Easy Frozen Yogurt Cups are healthy, easy to make, and will satisfy that sweet tooth!
Frozen Yogurt Cups Ingredients
- Chocolate chips: Hu Chocolate Gems are my favorite. They are paleo and vegan friendly and melt so well.
- Nonfat plain Greek yogurt: You can use any flavor of yogurt you want. I sweetened plain Greek yogurt naturally with maple syrup and leftover melted chocolate.
- Maple syrup: My favorite natural sweetener.
- Sprinkles: Optional but make everything more fun!
Materials needed to make these cups!
I used silicone baking cups for this recipe. Using these makes it super easy to remove the frozen yogurt cup.
How to make these frozen yogurt cups
Add chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds and then mix together. If it is still clumpy, microwave for another 30 seconds. Next, add 2 teaspoons of melted chocolate to the silicone baking cups and swirl the chocolate to cover the bottom and a little bit of the edges. Place in the freezer to harden.
While the chocolate is hardening, make the yogurt filling. Add yogurt to the same bowl you used to melt the chocolate (there will be some leftover chocolate in it. We want that 🙂 ) Mix the yogurt and chocolate together. The cool yogurt will harden the chocolate, making mini chocolate chips. Next mix the maple syrup.
Add two tablespoons of the yogurt mixture and sprinkles to the hardened chocolate-filled baking cups and place back in the freezer. Allow the yogurt cups to freeze completely before removing them from the baking cups. Enjoy or store in the freezer.
